England Rugby International and British & Irish Lions star Will Greenwood was born in Blackburn. Greenwood went on to reach 55 international caps and win the Rugby World Cup with England in 2003.

Routes from Blackburn Bus Station can take you across neighbouring areas giving you plenty of options. Blackburn is also conveniently situated just off the M65 which gives you easy access to Manchester as well as the M6.
History
Blackburn is an old textile town with them being famous for the manufacturing of the blue and white “Blackburn checks” – now the famous colours of Blackburn Rovers!!
